Bay Area Residents: Receive Real-Time Safety Alerts for Super Bowl 50

Nixle has partnered with the Bay Area Joint Information Center (JIC) to deliver important updates for Super Bowl 50 fans and local residents.

Super Bowl 50 is just around the corner, and as anticipation builds, public safety agencies in the Bay Area are determined to provide both residents, and visitors, with the most relevant and real-time safety information during the build up to the game on February 7, 2016 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, CA.

The City of Santa Clara Police Department, operating the Joint Information Center (JIC) for Super Bowl 50 will offer subscribers critical safety, severe weather, traffic and emergency alerts via Nixle.

STEP 1 – Residents, visitors and game attendees can simply text the word “SB50” to 888777 to receive regular updates.

The alerts, powered by Nixle Community Engagement from Everbridge, are part of the Bay Area’s commitment to safety and security over for Super Bowl 50.
