Social media, a valuable tool to law enforcement

Whether it is posting videos of suspects on Facebook, or sending out Nixle alerts to residents, social media integration is essential to law enforcement. The Beloit Police Department has succesfull used social media for press releases, keeping the community enformed, and asking for help with finding suspects.
