Eric Liu
CEO
Eric is the Chief Executive Officer at Nixle. He has over 10 years of experience leading technology companies in mobile communications and new media. Eric was part of the core team at LinkExchange, where he led product development on software solutions used by over 300,000 small businesses. LinkExchange was acquired by Microsoft, where Eric was awarded the Microsoft Patent Award for innovation. After leaving Microsoft, Eric became an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Ignition Partners, a communications-centric venture fund managing over $1B. While at Ignition, Eric co-founded Aleia, a company specializing in mobile personalization technologies. Aleia was acquired by SEVEN Networks, a market leader in mobile solutions for enterprise. Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of California at Berkeley.

John Frank
COO
John is the Chief Operating Officer at Nixle. John joined Nixle as the Vice President of Engineering and oversaw the initial implementation of the Nixle platform. Prior to joining Nixle, John oversaw numerous implementations of large-scale technical solutions for companies that included Time Warner, Warner Bros., and MGA Entertainment. Among his accomplishments are the launch of theWB.com and the rollout of an Emmy award-winning interactive news service for Cablevision. John also worked at Pittard Sullivan, where he served as technical lead and architect for online and interactive television projects for Microsoft, FHM Magazine, and ABC. John holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley.

Christopher Carides
Director, Finance
With more than 20 years of experience in both the public and private arena, Chris "The Money Man" Carides keeps a close guard over our financial resources to help ensure our long-term sustainability. Prior to Nixle, Chris has managed the financial and treasury functions for numerous privately held companies with annual sales between $8m and $60m. He was also an integral part of the management team that created the value and successfully sold a leading conference production company to a private equity group.

Scott Benoit
VP, Product
Scott is Nixle's VP of Product, where he is responsible for product management, user experience, and creative direction. Scott began his career at DIRECTV, where he designed and developed applications for Interactive TV and was awarded patents for the development of both DIRECTV's On Demand feature and In-Guide advertising feature. Scott went on to work for Trailer Park, the largest marketing and content agency in Hollywood. As a senior member of Trailer Park's Digital Media group, Scott worked on a wide array of projects for major entertainment properties, including Universal, Paramount, and Warner Bros. Scott received his BFA with honors from Otis College of Art & Design in Los Angeles.

Travis Scott
VP, Agency Relations
Travis Scott handles all agency relations for the Nixle team. As one Nixle's earliest team members, Travis has focused on the development of government solutions that will supplement and enhance the existing communication systems in the law enforcement and public safety sector. His experience was integral in the gathering of the direct market feedback necessary to develop the company's web integration through current social networking platforms. Travis was educated at California State University at Los Angeles, where he studied Communications.

J. Martin
VP, Support
J. Martin is a veteran member of the Nixle team and brings 20 years of support, management, and IT industry experience for internationally recognized companies such as ADP and Sungard. As the VP of Support, J. is responsible for managing 24/7 support, data processing, and using his extensive industry experience to quickly adapt & execute best support practice standards, protocol & procedures for the Nixle product line.
